Junior Sales Manager Benelux

Responsibilities/Role:
As Junior Sales Manager Benelux you are part of the Benelux sales team and you will be tasked with acquiring new clients in the Dutch speaking Belgian market and occasionally in Netherlands. You will also manage a portfolio of existing clients with responsibility for retaining and growing these accounts. The role is office based with occasional travel to Belgium and/or Netherlands and full training is provided.
  • Acquire and maintain new clients for the Belgian (Dutch speaking) market and occasionally for the Dutch market
  • Account management of existing and newly acquired clients
    • Upselling
    • Contract renewals – retain clients
    • Day-to-day contact over the phone
       
  • Follow existing sales pipeline and expand this pipeline with new appropriate prospects
  • Phone and face-to-face selling
  • Responsibility for the whole sales cycle, from prospection to bid proposal management to conclusion of contracts
  • You will be issued with KPI’s which you will be expected to meet or exceed whenever possible
  • Occasional travel to meet clients and prospects
  • Observe market trends and present them to the team in form of business ideas
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a sales, account management or business development role, preferably in the area of online marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Creativity, technical understanding and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to work
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Can do, will do attitude and a drive to achieve
  • Fluent in Dutch or Flemish and English, both oral and written
  • Willingness to travel
